Porsche is again testing a slightly widened and extremely high-lying variant of the Porsche 911. It could be a new production model of the 911 as a safari - or, to stay in context, the 911 Cross Tourismo.
In addition to an extremely elevated chassis (+ 40mm?), The high tire flank also catches the eye, which is not found in any other Porsche 911 model of this size. The wheel arches on the front and rear axles are widened, although the wheel arches may have been optically made smaller for test purposes so that the “SAFARI design” is not immediately noticeable.
In addition, the bumper seems to have been modified a bit so that the Porsche 911 Safari can handle steeper angles of approach and departure. This prototype will not show the final design yet, but the project remains exciting.In the interior, in addition to the bucket seats of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, you can also see a roll bar, which could also make it into series production.
