Bentley dresses in tweed

Practical and presentable: Tweed graced members of the royal family as well as early motorsport enthusiasts. Now it can also be found in cars.

The understated fabric of the upper class moves into the interiors of Bentley's luxury cars. The British will offer a tweed option for all models in the future. The Scottish wool fabric is available in four typical checked patterns and can be used to decorate the interior door panels, among other things. The VW subsidiary already has experience with tweed decor: a convertible top made of the firm fabric can be ordered on request. With the choice of fabric, Bentley wants to underline its efforts to become the market leader in the sustainable luxury segment. This also includes the previously announced switch to electric drive, which should take place by 2030.
