Fast two

Brabus not only gives large and powerful Mercedes vehicles an extra kick. The Smart EQ is also pimped by the tuners. However, the increase in horsepower is modest.

Tuner Brabus has taken on the Smart EQ fortwo Cabrio again and launched a special model limited to 50 copies. The Brabus 92 R version costs around 47.500 euros, almost twice as much as the standard convertible model of the electric two-seater.

The Brabus speedster has 68 kW / 92 PS, which means that it has a power boost of 10 PS compared to the Smart EQ. Four driving modes are available for the Brabus 92 R. Only with Sport + can the 92 hp be called up and the torque increases from 160 Nm to 180 Nm. The standard sprint takes 10,9 seconds, the top speed is reached at 130 km / h as with the standard Fortwo. The range is up to 125 kilometers.

Visually, the tuned Smart EQ differs through typical Brabus add-on parts such as front apron, front spoiler and side skirts. 16-inch front and 17-inch rear as well as a coilover sports suspension are also part of the standard equipment. The leather seats are kept in red, the electric folding roof picks up on the shade of red. Instrument carriers, additional instruments and ventilation nozzles have carbon-look panels; Pedals, handbrake lever and gear knob are made of aluminum.
