Shows at the Geneva Motor Show (March 3 - 13) Citroen a special model of the C4 Cactus. The Cactus of the same name was created in cooperation with the Australian company Rip Curl, which specializes in surf suits and surfboards.
On board the special model is the "Grip Control" system, which improves traction on different surfaces thanks to intelligent traction control. You can choose between five modes using the rotary control on the dashboard. For example, "sand" is ideal for beach excursions, "terrain" for slippery ground and "snow" for ski resorts. There is also the "ESP Off" mode, which deactivates the electronic stability program up to a speed of 50 km / h. A petrol engine with 81 kW / 110 PS and a diesel with 73 kW / 99 PS are available for the drive.
Visually, the Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl differs from the civilian variants with white wing mirror flaps and roof rails as well as gray protective strips at the front and rear. The Airbumps are black as standard, with three colors to choose from.
In the interior of the special model based on the third Shine trim level, orange accents on seat belts, seat covers and carpets are striking. Rear parking assistance, reversing camera, automatic climate control, navigation system, speed control, tinted windows and a panoramic glass roof are standard. The Cactus Rip Curl will be available to dealers in the first half of this year, the car manufacturer plans to announce the prices later. The series model currently costs with the 110 PS petrol engine in the Shine trim level from 19.300 euros.
