Dacia Bigster: a class beefier

Dacia continues to play an important role in Renault's new strategy. The low-cost brand should appear correspondingly self-confident in the future, as a new concept vehicle shows.

Dacia is expanding its range of models. With the Bigster Concept study, the Romanian Renault subsidiary will in future move into the mid-range SUV. The beefy crossover is around 4,60 meters long and positioned above the 30 centimeter shorter Duster. Compared to its little brother, the Bigster appears even sturdier, flared wheel arches and a power dome on the bonnet make it appear even more confident. The manufacturer has not yet said anything about the drive system for the later production model. So far, Dacia has had to do without electric motors, instead using LPG to reduce CO2. However, the Spring Electric will be the brand's first e-model at the end of the year. In the future, there should be three SUVs in the brand portfolio.
