Economical and clever - the new Land Rover Discovery

Land Rover's fifth generation Discovery has been around for three years. Now the five-meter-long SUV is getting an extensive facelift. The six-cylinder, which is powered by diesel or petrol, is powerful and efficient. There is also an infotainment system, which was taken over by Jaguar, a subsidiary of Land Rover.

Lots of great details

It's the many details that make the British so impressive. So the new Land Rover Discovery gets LED headlights, in which the headlights for the day are arranged a little further down. The new Discovery has four sequential indicators both at the front and at the rear and a new “Gloss Black” strip is attached to the rear in addition to the LED taillights. According to Land Rover, the new one is confident and determined, thanks to exclusive details in the design. The body sets accents, also in “Gloss Black”, as do the two-tone leather seats with contrasting stitching.

Very clear

Developed by Jaguar, the Land Rover Discovery has an 11,4-inch full HD touchscreen that gives the center console a new look. The system has a built-in backup battery, which enables the navigation to be initialized in just a few seconds. The structure of the menu is also clear, ensuring that whoever uses it sees the most frequently used functions directly on the screen. In this way, the driver is not distracted and can concentrate on the traffic.

good job

Who is up for the new Land Rover Discovery with six cylinders decides, gets either 183 kW or 249 hp, and optionally 221 kW or 300 hp with a three liter displacement. The four-cylinder delivers 221 kW or 300 PS with a two-liter displacement. All models have four-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmissions. The Land Rover Discovery can already be ordered, but it will probably not be delivered until spring 2021. The price has also already been set: 59.506,05 euros, including VAT.
