The movie Ford v Ferrari has many historical elements. It tells the story of Caroll Shelby and Ken Miles. Both, one car designer, the other racing driver, have set themselves the goal of beating Ferrari at the 24 Hours of LeMans. The film, based on a true story, is set in 1966.

The two main actors are mimed by the American actors Matt Damon (Caroll Shelby) and Christian Bale (Ken Miles). 20th Century Fox plans to release the film in theaters in November 2019.
