The new Golf 8 R - there will be no more pictures before the unveiling!
In this case, our Erlkönig photographer was able to photograph the upcoming Volkswagen Golf 8 R without camouflage clothing. In addition to the expected front and the large aero package at the rear, it is above all the detail photos from the interior that make these Erlkönig pictures special.
The upcoming Golf 8 R continues where the Golf R last left off. Four lush exhaust pipes for the roughly 330 hp four-cylinder turbo engine, plus the well-known 7-speed dual clutch transmission and a new version of the Haldex clutch for the all-wheel drive of the 4motion system.
The brake looks massive, but only includes the classic program - with floating saddles. In the interior, the hydrogen ballast tanks that are part of the test procedure are also noticeable. The camouflage of the Golf 8 R in these pictures can only be described as “rudimentary” - fans can therefore expect a launch of the upcoming sports golf shortly.
