HBK2015 - We start with Matthias Kahle!

HBK2015It´s the 8.Auflage of the Hamburg-Berlin-Klassik and once again autohub.de is on-site and on the move. Hamburg-Berlin Classic, in short HBK, We are looking forward to a great time, together with Škoda Auto Deutschland we start on a Škoda Rally 130 RS - our pilot? None other than that seven-time German rally champion Matthias Kahle

autohub.de will be present twice at HBK2015. Bernd Schweickard, the lifestyle expert on “mab” and founder of the AWR magazine, will roll to the start on a “Mini” and Bjoern Habegger, founder of autohub.de, can tackle the exciting rally together with the German rally champion Matthias Kahle!

“Rally drivers all have a nail in their heads!”

A famous quote with an unknown origin - but I have already experienced that it is so. Last year Sepp Wiegand got me in one Škoda Fabia Super 2000 an experience that clearly showed: rally drivers simply tick differently.

So this year Matthias Kahle. Born in March like me. A few years older and with a few more rally championship titles. I? Zero. Matthias Kahle? Seven! And because that wasn't up for discussion anyway, Matthias Kahle will probably also move our Škoda 130 RS. Maybe I can talk enough to Matthias Kahle at the bar the night before so that I can get behind the wheel. Otherwise I have the task of reading the prayer book and not losing my bearings.

Our rally Škoda is, by the way, a pure rear-engine sports machine. Weighing less than 900 kg and with more than 140 hp from a 1.3 liter four-cylinder, the “Eastern Bloc Porsche” will go on the wonderful classic tour from Berlin to Hamburg. I immediately believe that the 130 RS should be capable of speeds of up to 220 km/h - its classic coupé line has lost none of its appeal even after 40 years.

We are looking forward to our start on August 27.8.2015th, XNUMX in front of the Berlin Olympic Stadium! And you can join us “live”! Follow our Twitter account and ours Instagram account, like us Facebook and have a look at the blog!
