Honda electrifies its model range. Now it is the turn of the new HR-V.
Honda will bring the new generation of the HR-V to Europe at the end of this year. The small crossover will only be available as a hybrid and, last but not least, should score with plenty of space. The fold-up rear seats also contribute to this. These "Magic Seats", known from other models of the brand, are made possible by placing the fuel tank under the front seats.
For the drive, the technology known from the small Jazz car and the compact SUV CR-V is used, in which the combustion engine primarily serves as a power generator for the electric drive. Compared to its predecessor, the new HR-V will slightly increase in size and should also appear more adult. The current generation has been on the market since 2015; there were around 1.600 new registrations in Germany last year.
