Honda today at the IAA in Frankfurt Appetite for the next Honda CIVIC Type-R generation.
Manabu Nishimae, president of Honda Motor Europe today confirmed the first details of the upcoming Type-R Civic. At least 280 PS should deliver the four-cylinder turbo engine to the front axle.
Honda has also confirmed once again that the Civic Type-R is intended to be the fastest front-wheel drive vehicle on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Even if you are already busy developing, there are still two long years before the large fan community of the Civic Type-R can make a pilgrimage to the Honda dealers. Sales start should be 2015.
