At the market launch, Kia will initially offer the conventional versions of the Sportage. A model with a plug will follow in the spring.
The Kia Sportage with plug-in hybrid drive will start in April at prices from 44.390 euros. The 195 kW / 265 PS strong combination of 1,6-liter gasoline engine and electric motor drives all four wheels as standard, the electric range should be 60 kilometers as with the sister model Hyundai Tucson. Standard equipment includes 19-inch rims, motorway assistant and cruise control. On request, an adaptive chassis and air-conditioned front seats are available, among other things.
The new generation of the compact SUV will start in early 2022, initially in the conventional versions with diesels and gasoline engines in the power range from 100 kW / 136 PS to 132 kW / 180 PS. The price list starts at 27.790 euros.
