The Japanese premium brand shows at the Beijing Motor Show (until May 4) Lexus currently their revised mid-size sedan IS. The four-door car received a fresh look, especially in the front area, with new lights, larger air intakes in the bumpers and a slightly modified "diabolo" grille. There are also new 17-inch rims in 10-spoke design and two new exterior colors (Deep Blue Mica and Graphite Black Glass Flake).
Inside, the monitor was enlarged from 7 to 10,3 inches and the resolution increased for better readability. In addition, various instruments such as the speedometer and tachometer as well as buttons, for example for audio and climate, should now be easier to read.
In Germany, the Lexus IS will continue to be available with a 2,0-liter turbo petrol engine (180 kW / 245 hp) as a 200 t or the hybrid variant 300h with a combination of a 2,5-liter petrol engine (133 kW / 181 hp) and Electric motor (105 kW / 143 hp) offered. For the hybrid, this results in a system output of 164 kW / 223 hp and an average consumption of 4,3 liters (97 g CO2 / km). Both models are currently on the list with a base price of EUR 37.750.
