This is also strikingly continued in the rear. Flat LED headlights with offset LED daytime running lights give it a decidedly aggressive look that will ensure the necessary recognition value in the rearview mirror of the others. According to Lexus, the NX also offers the largest luggage compartment in its class and thus generous luggage allowance.
Luxurious shopping in the urban jungle? Yes, please!
Passengers can sit in comfortable sports seats and be fascinated by a new operating concept. The NX uses a touchpad instead of the Lexus typical mouse pointer. A widescreen infotainment monitor stands free and acts like a small flat screen TV. Only high-quality materials such as dull wood and two-tone leather with contrasting seams are used here. In the rear there is enough space, so that seat giants in the new NX feel comfortable. Everywhere is the classic Lexus design language L-finesse away from the futuristic-looking concept car. Additional high-quality details such as an analogue clock between the ventilation grilles and the electrically operated tailgate additionally add value to the noble compacts.
As far as the technical data are concerned, the Japanese did not really want to get out of it. The fact is that the Lexus NX will be available with two petrol engines (a sucker and a turbo) as well as a hybrid engine (NX 300h). This consists of an Atkinson petrol engine with 2,5-liter displacement, a generator, an electric motor and of course a hybrid battery. Probably from the Lexus IS 300h inherited engine puts it on proud 223 PS. In Germany, the noble vehicle will probably come mainly as a hybrid with a 2,5-liter four-cylinder and a performance of about 200 PS on the market. In addition, you can still choose between a front and a four-wheel drive. Also planned for the German market is a new two-liter turbo, which is pushed to just 240 PS. An 6 automatic transmission here expresses the power on the wheels.
From when and for how much there will be the sporty crossover is not yet known. So we can be curious when the peculiar noble compact is thrown on the market.
