So far, Bentley has only granted the 12 buyers of the exclusive special Bacalar 659 hp model. Now others can also benefit from this service.
The British car manufacturer Bentley is now unleashing its luxury coupé Continental GT for the fourth time in the sporty "Speed" version. In the new edition, a W12 biturbo engine is used, which, as in the Bacalar, which was only built 2020 times in 12, provides 485 kW / 659 PS and 900 Newton meters of torque. In conjunction with the eight-speed double clutch and all-wheel drive, the sprint to 100 km / h should take just 3,6 seconds and the top speed should be 335 km / h.
Special features of the sports version, recognizable by black accents, sills, splinters and 22-inch wheels, are all-wheel steering and an electronically controlled rear axle differential. The interior is characterized by lavish aluminum decor. In contrast, there is a large area of real carbon built into the dashboard. Alternatively, customers can choose different wood decors. Many types of leather and color combinations are also available for seat covers. A brake system with carbon-ceramic brake discs is also optional. Bentley has not yet announced prices for the already configurable Continental GT Speed. Presumably, each kilo of the 2.273-kilogram coupé should cost around 100 euros and the model in the basic version around 230.000 euros.
