The electrified Mercedes S-Class The S 580 e is now also available with all wheel drive. This plug-in variant is available with a short and long wheelbase and starts at around 132.130 euros. The surcharge compared to the plug-in version without all-wheel drive is around 8.400 euros.
S-Class S 580 e takes it easy
Mercedes uses the same technical layout in the S 580 e 4Matic as in the S 580 e and combines a three-liter six-cylinder with 270 kW / 367 hp with an electric motor with 110 kW / 150 hp and 480 Nm. The system output is 375 kW / 510 PS and 750 Nm. According to the WLTP, the Stuttgart-based company gives the electric range of up to 100 kilometers. The maximum speed in E-mode is limited to 140 km / h. Average consumption is 0,7 to 1,0 liters and 21,9 to 25,5 kWh of electricity, while CO2 emissions are 16 to 23 grams per kilometer. The plug-in hybrid can charge three-phase with 11 kW as standard. A 60 kW DC charger is optionally available.
