The new V-Class has already developed into a noble shuttle. At the Geneva Motor Show (until 15 in March), Mercedes will showcase a concept car in which the MPV can be equipped in the near future: The plug-in hybrid drive from the C-Class and high-quality equipment details make the Swabian city of Büssle a state-of-the-art luxury car. Transporter V-ision e.
The dual heart of gasoline and electric motor delivers a system performance of 245 kW / 333 PS (up to 600 Nm torque). It catapults the hybrid vehicle in 6,1 seconds from a standstill to 100 km / h - faster than the current top engine of the V-Class. A maximum of 206 km / h can be reached. As standard consumption there Mercedes 3,1 liters per 100 km (71 g CO2 / km). Up to 50 kilometers, the MPV can drive purely electric, at a maximum speed of 80 km / h.
The show car should also be groundbreaking in terms of interior design. For example, almost the entire roof area consists of glass: 2,14 sqm is the large panorama element, which is partly sunroof, partly fixed glass roof. The transparency can be switched to light or dark at the touch of a button ("Magic Sky Control"), so that unwanted heating is prevented. An intelligent control, for example, ensures that the roof is automatically closed when entering a tunnel so that no exhaust fumes enter the interior.
The completely white interior of nappa leather and microfibre harmonizes particularly well with the floor of genuine walnut wood. As in the S-Class, so-called executive seats are mounted at the rear, which spread out to the surface at the touch of a button and also combine seat heating, ventilation and massage functions. The functions can be controlled via switches in the vehicle as well as via an app on the iPad. Fold-out tables, iPad holder provide even more comfort, as well as the large center console, which includes a cool box, among other things.
