MG Motor Germany

So far MG has caused a stir with the announcement of new models. Now there are also official dealers in Germany.

The Chinese automaker MG has started selling new cars in Germany. MG Motor Germany has had 20 locations on the network since January, as reported by the specialist magazine "kfz -betrieb". More are to follow. According to the report, the aim of the importer is to have a base in every city with a population of over 100.000. There are around 80 of them in Germany. In addition to multi-brand dealers, there will also be exclusive stores, and flagship stores are also planned in city centers.

The former British brand MG is now owned by the Chinese SAIC group, which has been selling the vehicles in the United Kingdom for a long time. In continental Europe, MG wants to position itself as an electric car brand and only sell cars with plugs. The range currently consists of two SUVs, the pure electric model ZS EV and the plug-in hybrid EHS. In the course of the year, another SUV is to be added with the Marvel R, and a compact station wagon called the MG5 has been announced. The models are already being offered in China under the Roewe brand, which also has numerous other e-models with possible European ambitions in its range. For the year 2025, the Chinese have set the goal of selling 100.000 cars across Europe.
