Almost a year ago the electric dwarf Microlino 2.0 was officially presented. Now there is a first prototype and also a fairly specific schedule for the market launch.
The Swiss company Micro has published a new status report on the Microlino 2.0 electric car project. Accordingly, there is a first prototype, which will be followed by other pre-series vehicles by the time the homologation process takes place in summer. The Swiss have scheduled the official presentation of the series version and EU approval for August 21. Start of production and first deliveries are to follow shortly thereafter.
The key data of the Microlino 2020 presented in summer 2.0 has not changed. The two-seater, which is just 2,43 meters short, will compete in the L7e class. An 11 kW / 15 PS electric motor drives the lightweight electric vehicle, which weighs just over 500 kilograms, to a maximum of 90 km / h. The optional 8 or 14,4 kWh batteries should allow ranges of 125 or 200 kilometers. The base price is 12.000 euros. Pre-orders are accepted.
