Mille Miglia 2012 - 1600 kilometer race from Brescia to Rome and back

The Mille Miglia 2012 is the legendary thousand miles from Brescia to Rome and back. The historic rally has lost none of its charm to this day. Racing drivers battle it out on their vintage and youngtimers over 1.600 km across Italy. Many Italian brands dominated events for many years.

After the Mille Miglia was revived in 1977 after a long break, registrations break records every year. This year the number has risen to 1.355 registrations. The participants come from more than 25 countries. A total of 375 starting places are available.

This year there will be a stopover at the newly opened Enzo Ferrari Museum give. Yesterday evening of the Mille Miglia 2012 the participants took their seats in the historic center of Brescia. The whole city was full of excited people.

The current schedule for the Mille Miglia is. 17 May 8.30 a.m. to 15.30 p.m. Vehicle handover in Piazza della Loggia in Brescia. From 18.30 p.m. start Viale Venezia with the arrival in Ferrara at 0.30 a.m. 18 May from 8 a.m. departure, from 20.30 p.m. arrival in Rome Castel St. Angelo. 19 May 6.30 a.m. start, 22.15 p.m. finish in Brescia.
