Mini convertible

Many manufacturers are saying goodbye to their convertible models. But Mini sticks to his. There should even be a successor.

According to BMW, the mini convertible will have a successor and will come onto the market in 2025. The carmaker does not specify whether the convertible will then only be offered as a battery-electric model or still with gasoline.
The current mini convertible started in 2016 and received its second extensive facelift in early 2021 after 2018. It is only offered with conventional three- and four-cylinder petrol engines. The output range extends from 75 kW / 102 PS (One, from 24.900 euros) to 170 kW / 231 PS (John Cooper Works, from 37.200 euros).
Last year Mini sold around 292.000 units worldwide. In Germany there were a good 44.000, of which almost 20 percent were open to the public.
