Mitsubishi continues to upgrade the ASX for the new model year. In addition to visual changes such as the fender flares for the ASX Plus and ASX Top versions and new 18-inch alloy wheels, the ASX starts with a new diesel engine.
The new entry-level diesel develops 114 hp and has a displacement of 1,6 liters. The new unit can be combined with front-wheel or all-wheel drive and should get by with 4,6 (FWD) or 5,0 (AWD) liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. The power is sent to the axles via a manual six-speed gearbox. The compact SUV should accelerate to 11,2 km / h in 100 seconds, with a maximum of 182 km / h. The new engine is linked to the medium (Plus) or highest (TOP) equipment level, prices start at 25.490 euros. On board are, among other things, automatic climate control, 18-inch wheels and a reversing camera. The previous entry-level diesel with 1,8 liter displacement and 150 hp (from 25.990 euros, 5,4 liters consumption) falls out of the program.
