The three best test cars 2013

With a little pride in my chest, I can say: 2013 was my best year so far as a freelance car blogger. Even if I say goodbye to “blogging” more and more and go to writing that is more typical of magazines. The layout of the blog has long been more of a magazine than a blog. But there is hardly any other drawer for what I do than that of the “blogger”. A freelance motor journalist who primarily publishes on his own platform and lives off of it. Well - that's what you call “blogging”.

2013 had a lot of test vehicles to offer. There were real cracks like driving in Pagani during the # iThunder road trip in the summer of the year. Incomprehensible great vehicles were presented this year and I could mine Desire for the automobile live almost unrestrained.

The choice of the “three best” test cars in 2013 was therefore not easy either! But - I went inside, recapitulated, made decisions, rethought, enjoyed the goosebumps of the memories that came out and now they are certain:

Toyota GT86

The Toyota GT 86 is not the number 1 car for family trips or everyday business use. The GT 86 shows its best side when you get behind the wheel “just for fun”. Anyone who starts the free-aspirating two-liter boxer engine and then flies it on a Sunday morning over empty country roads will feel that long-lost feeling of real driving pleasure. An unadulterated mixture of classic coupé shape, aggressively working naturally aspirated engine and happily perfect weight distribution.

The 2013 test car has everything a test car needs to live up to the slogan of my blog: “Because cars are just fun” - and you can even afford the GT86!
