Hyundai makes the Ioniq Elektro more powerful. There is more range and power for free, but not.
SP-X / Offenbach. With a larger battery and a more powerful engine, the Hyundai Ioniq Elektro is in its second half of life in summer. The price rises by 1.600 euros to 34.900 euros.
Instead of the previously used 28 kWh battery, a model with 38 kWh capacity is now being used, which increases the range by 36 percent to around 294 kilometers according to the WLTP standard (NEDC: 378 kilometers). The engine strengthened simultaneously from 88 kW / 120 PS to 100 kW / 136 PS. Also new is a recuperation paddle on the steering wheel; the driver pulls it, brakes the limousine and recovers energy while protecting the wheel brakes. The lifted compact car can be seen, among other things, on the redesigned front with graphics on the closed grille.
Hyundai had already introduced the facelift program for the other two drive variants of the Ioniq, the hybrid and the plug-in hybrid. They cost from 25.800 euros or 32.000 euros
