Anyone who likes classic automobiles and especially “old Opels” is actually too late tonight. Because the ADAC Opel Classic Hessen-Thüringen, a Ascension Day of the special event, has been running since today. Not just a men's and Father's Day tour, but a tour for classic automobiles across the beautiful landscape between the Thuringian Forest, the Vogelsberg, the Spessart and the Rhön Nature Park.
It's not too late, however, because on Friday, May 10th, the stage “Rhön / Grabfeld” is still on the agenda and on Saturday the stage through the Rhön and the Spessart.
If you shouldn't be able to be there live, you can accompany my car blogger friend Tom Schwede and his son Max on their special and, above all, extended Father's Day tour. Live via Twitter via #Tag # 19ocht and of course on Tom's blog!
If you want to find out more about the event itself, you can not only find a lot of information on Tom's blog, but also click on the organizer's page: OPEL ADAC Classic
Personally, although it is almost through my front yard, I will unfortunately not be able to be there on the track. Too bad - but Friday and Saturday are already planned and the preparations for that 24h race also run at full speed.
But maybe you? And a request - if someone was there and has photos, please send them to me, then they will also be published here in the blog!
