The choice of engines for the Fiat 500L family has increased even further. The 500L, 500L Living and 500L Trekking are now also available with a particularly powerful turbo diesel. The 1,6-liter four-cylinder has an output of 88 kW (120 hp) and provides the maximum torque of 320 Newton meters at an engine speed of 1.500. The average consumption is a low 4,8 liters per 100 kilometers, thanks in part to the standard automatic start & stop system.
The new Fiat 500L Living 1.6 16V MultiJet, for example, is available in two equipment versions. Even in the basic version Pop-Star (from 21.750 euros), the always five-door sedan is already extensively equipped, including the electronic driving stability program (ESP), six airbags, air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, leather steering wheel and Uconnect audio system controlled by Bluetooth Hands-free kit for cell phones. The Fiat 500L Living 1.6 16V MultiJet Lounge (from 22.850 euros) also comes as standard with a reversing camera, fog lights with cornering light function, power windows front and rear and tinted rear windows on board.

The 500 L was a clever move by FIAT. On the platform of the Fiat Punto, the practical face of the Fiat 500 and the already existing technology of the Punto are combined to create a practical family car with friendly features.
In my I am buying advice on the FIAT 500 L Trekking a “500 L version” that follows the current trend for subtle off-road make-up. But also that Living, the “long Fiat 500 L” I have already dedicated an article.
I see the new motorization as a necessary extension. Even if the majority of the 500 L was probably well received so far, the 120 PS turbodiesel is likely to be particularly well received by future Fiat 500 L drivers who are often on the freeway, or who use the full load volume of the 500 L Living ,
