In 2021, e-cars sold like sliced bread. A model particularly good.
That was last year Tesla With 3 units, the Model 35.262 is the best-selling battery electric vehicle in Germany. As can be seen from the Statista graphic based on KBA data, the 2nd and 3rd places are followed by the VW e-up (30.797 units) and the VW ID.3 (26.693 units). The Renault Zoe took fourth place with 24.736 vehicles. The Smart Fortwo (5 units) and Hyundai Kona (6 units) are in 17.409th and 17.240th position. Skoda Enyaq (13.026 units), VW ID.4 (12.734 units), Fiat 500-e (12.516 units) and BMW i3 (12 units) complete the top ten.
How many electric cars were there in total?
A total of around 2021 electric cars were sold in Germany in 356.000. They make up 13,6 percent of the 2,62 million newly registered vehicles.
