With a refreshed design it works Nissan Qashqai in July in his second half of life. The lifted compact SUV celebrates its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show (until March 19). In addition to a modified front design with a new radiator grille, better noise insulation and optimized chassis, technology for autonomous driving will also be introduced - but probably only in the coming year. By March 2018 at the latest, the crossover on the autobahn should be able to keep on track, brake and accelerate independently. So far, only a few manufacturers offer similar systems, most of which can be found in the premium segment.
The range of engines remains unchanged. A 1,2-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 85 kW / 115 hp functions as the base engine, and a 120-kW / 163 hp 1,6-liter four-cylinder engine ranks above it. On the diesel side, there are two engines with 1,5 and 1,6 liters of displacement as well as 81 kW / 110 PS and 96 kW / 130 PS to choose from. The latter will probably be available with all-wheel drive again. The manufacturer does not yet list prices. The price list currently starts at 20.000 euros. The third generation of Nissan's successful model is expected for early 2019.
