Wheel change by a workshop or do you prefer to do it yourself? The majority of Germans have a clear preference for this.
Just over half (52%) of German drivers go to a workshop to have their wheels changed. Of these, 21 percent each go to a branded company or an independent workshop. 10 percent use the service of a tire specialist. According to a survey by Deutsche Automobil-Treuhand (DAT), 26 percent of car owners do the wheel changes themselves. 22 percent of those surveyed had all-season tires on their cars and therefore no need for a seasonal tire change.
