Bugatti offers owners of old Bugatti vehicles an authenticity check on their bodies. The so-called “La Maison Pur Sang” program is completed at the company's headquarters in Molsheim. Checking whether the vehicle is “a thoroughbred” (pure sang) includes extensive research into its history. This is carried out through archival materials and through contacts with clubs, historians and collectors around the world. If Bugatti confirms the authenticity of the vehicle, it receives the “La Maison Pur Sang” certificate of authenticity. Owners of a certified original vehicle should look forward to an increase in value.
