News: Opel Corsa - performance gap closed

Closes with a 110 kW / 150 PS turbo gasoline engine Opel in the Corsa the line gap between the previous top model and the upcoming sports version OPC. The four-cylinder with a torque of 220 Nm accelerates the small car from standstill to 8,9 km / h in 100 seconds, the top speed is 207 km / h. A manual six-speed gearbox ensures power transmission. The manufacturer specifies the consumption at 5,9 liters. The new petrol engine is offered in conjunction with the two highest equipment lines, “Color Edition” and “Innovation”. As a three-door it costs from 17.380 euros, the five-door is 750 euros more expensive. The equipment includes a leather steering wheel, 16-inch rims and cruise control.

The Corsa petrol range thus includes six engines. The entry marks a 51 kW / 70 hp 1,2-liter four-cylinder, the most powerful engine so far was the 1,0-liter three-cylinder turbo with 85 kW / 115 hp. In spring, the sports model Corsa OPC complements the program with a 152 kW / 207 hp 1,6-liter turbo gasoline engine.
