Opel is now taking orders for the new one Astra opposite. There is a gap of almost 20.000 euros between the entry-level model and the top version with full equipment.
Opel has opened the books for the new edition of the compact classic. The entry-level model is the 22.465 euro five-door with 81 kW / 110 hp 1,2-liter petrol engine and an unnamed equipment line. This includes one-zone automatic air conditioning, digital instrument cluster, infotainment system with 10-inch touchscreen, electric windows on all four doors, cruise control, LED headlights and rain sensor.

Alternatively, another petrol engine with 96 kW / 130 PS and an equally powerful diesel are available for the compact model. Both units can be combined with a manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic. The higher quality equipment lines are called Edition, Elegance, GS Line and Ultimate. The Business Edition and Business Elegance versions are also available especially for fleet operators. As the top model Ultimate with diesel and automatic, the Astra costs 38.680 euros. If you want to equip it with leather seats, metallic paint and hi-fi sound system, you end up at just under 42.000 euros.
