A bit more elegant optics, LED headlights, the latest infotainment generation and a current engine from the Astra: Opel prepares the mocha with various updates for the second half of life and against growing competition. He also receives the suffix "X". The basic version remains at 18.990 euros, then with the 85 kW / 115 hp 1,6-liter petrol engine, including air conditioning and radio.
New in the engine range is the 1,4 liter turbo petrol known from the new Astra. As a 112 kW / 152 hp variant, the four-cylinder is available in combination with six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive for 24.575 euros. With the update after four years of construction, further bonds from the new Astra are also coming: For example, a new, more elegant instrument panel and the 7- and 8-inch touchscreens of the new infotainment generation, which make many buttons and controls unnecessary. The Mokka X now connects to the Internet; if desired, smartphones can be connected to the vehicle via Apple Carplay or Android Auto.
From the outside, the front looks especially different, more elegant and less playful than before. With the Mokka X, LED headlights are introduced that automatically adapt the light beam to the driving situation - depending on whether you are driving in the city or on a country road, for example. The mocha is one of the most popular mini SUVs in Germany and the most important series for Opel after Astra and Corsa.
