How to configure your new Pagani Huayra in real time
Pagani Automobili SpA is also going with the new virtual world and is putting a Pagani Huayra configurator online. This was developed in cooperation with MHP, a Porsche IT consulting company. The graphics processor developer Nvidia and Epic Games are also involved in the high-tech configurator, which can also be used to configure the Huayra Roadster.
Virtual configuration in real time
Using a special ray tracing technique, the representation of the virtual Pagani is recalculated in fractions of a second. Light, shadows and reflections on the surface can be reproduced as in reality. With real-time ray tracing, computers calculate every movement of the viewer. Depending on the nature of a surface, the reflections are different.
Configurator for the Pagani Huarya and Huayra BC Roadster
With a click on the respective view, the live mode pans in fluid movements to the previously configured vehicle through predefined viewing angles. The viewer thinks the Huayra is right in front of him.
Due to the choice of different backgrounds, the representation is extremely lifelike and absolutely realistic. The screen darkens using a “Night Mode” and shows the Pagani in the evening light.
If you choose a special exterior color, the body color will also change in a few moments. Exact with all light and shadow details. We decided on our FINESTAUTOMOTIVE Huayra for Giallo Limone_A Gloss, as carbon color we chose Transparent Black Mamba Gloss. There is a total of over 50 main colors and almost 20 secondary colors to choose from.
Different configuration options
The Pagani Huayra configurator also offers a center stripe. The optional decor extends over the bonnet and roof. Even here there are over 50 color variations to choose from. For the wheels, we opted for the golden Huarya Wheels with red Brembo calipers. Titanium, silver and black can also be configured to match your personal Huayra.
In the interior, the viewer can choose his very special color from 22 different colors. Even the color of the dials and the cover of the steering wheel can be determined.
One click to the roadster
With a simple click we turn the Huayra Roadster into the closed version. Of course, the windows close automatically. Doors can also be opened via the menu. With the “Beauty Shots” menu selection, the configured Huayra slides through the scene in special camera pans. With a click on “Screenshot” you get a downloadable overall picture of the Paganis.
We were completely fascinated by the detailed view in the frog's eye view. Here you can see perfectly rendered rims, as if you just wanted to free them from rim dust. With the "Cinema" function, you can still see your configured Huayra in an animated film, almost like a promotional video.

The Pagani Huayra configurator hit our nerve. A fascinating piece of technology that also allows the Italian super sports car to grow virtually into a real, individually configurable powerhouse.
