Advertising: Peugeot 208 - Impress Yourself
Branded companies like to decorate themselves with personalities from radio and television. Athletes are just as popular, especially when it comes to a healthy product or a modern, young one. Usually slim young women are used here, similar to the fashion model world.
In its latest campaign for the new Cityflitzer 208, Peugeot is taking a different approach and engaging the handicap model Mario Galla.
The German male model Mario Galla was born with a shortened thigh and must therefore wear a prosthesis. Despite his disability, he struggled to the top in the model world. He made his breakthrough when he appeared at Berlin Fashion Week 2010 when star designer Michalsky built him into his fashion show. In short pants he strolled across the catwalk and became one of the best-booked German male models.
Spotted at a snack bar in Hamburg, he ran his first job for Hugo Boss. So he put an exclamation mark directly!
Peugeot would also like to set one with the new Peugeot 208 and the campaign “Impress yourself".
The new Peugeot 208 is not made to impress others, although it could do it by design. It is not only the new "Orange Power" exterior color and two new types of textured paintwork that make for a very special appearance.
If you like it more dynamic like Galla, you can choose the sporty models 208 GTi or 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport.
"Impress Yourself" means, however, do not shine outside to impress others, impress yourself, inside. The Peugeot 208 wants to do this with three equipment levels, Access, Active and Allure and the latest security technology.
The mirror screen function for the safe operation of a smartphone via the on-board touchscreen is now also available as standard for the 208. An optional reversing camera makes parking easier. The “Active City Brake” system is also available on request: if there is a risk of collision, the 208 is automatically braked in city traffic at speeds below 30 km / h.
Mario Galla has no brakes in his life. After numerous years as a model, he is currently engaged to his partner, got a dog and at the age of just 29 wrote his biography "With one leg in the model business".
