The freshly lifted Peugeot 208 will be in the dealers' halls in June; the small car can now be ordered for at least 12.400 euros. The five-door is available from 13.150 euros. The basic version is powered by a petrol engine with 50 kW / 68 PS.
Top models of the series are the 208 GTi or 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport for 23.500 euros (27.790 euros for the GTi by Peugeot Sport). There is only a 153 kW / 208 hp 1,6-liter turbo under its sheet.
There are three equipment levels and four individualization packages to choose from for the Peugeot 208. The orange exterior color and the two textured paints are new. These have a slightly grained surface and have a silky matt finish. Initially, the tones "Ice Gray" and "Ice Silver" (only for 208 GTi) are available. The surcharge for painting is 800 euros, which corresponds to an additional cost of almost 200 euros compared to conventional metallic painting.
The 208, which is available as a three- and five-door model, now appears slightly wider in the front, and the rear is adorned with standard LED taillights in a “3D claw design”. Optionally, assistance systems such as city emergency brakes, reversing cameras or parking assistants can be booked.
