So far offers Peugeot in addition to the Ion still the partner in the van version with purely electric drive on. For the Geneva Motor Show (9. -19., March 2017), the lion brand now also introduces the Tepee, the family-friendly car version of the partner, with electric drive.
Like the other Peugeot Stromers, it is powered by an 49 kW / 67 PS and 200 Newton meter electric motor, which draws its power from an 22,5 kWh battery. Peugeot does not mention driving performance, but these should be at the level of the utility partner, which sprints from just under 20 seconds to Tempo 100 and speeds up to 110 km / h.
The theoretical range is 170 kilometers. Charging the 230 batteries takes up to 12 hours on an 15-Volt socket, while the Chademo connector can be used for fast charging in which 30 batteries are charged to 80%.
The power storage, which is housed in two packages at the rear, should not affect the utility of the Tepee Partner. The trunk of the five-seater can be extended to 1.350 liters, just like the conventionally powered variants from 3.000.
The market launch of the family-friendly Stromer should follow in September. Prices are not yet mentioned, but should probably cost the electric Tepee several thousand euros more than the commercial vehicle counterpart. This offers Peugeot currently for just over 25.000 Euro. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
