Techart GT Street R - holistic tuning

In the first available expansion stage, the Leonberger tuners offer an increase by 60 PS and 130 Newton meters

Techart has the current Porsche 911 Turbo / Turbo S and radically redesigned and sharpened it in the style of the house. A comprehensive aerodynamic kit gives the 911 a new aesthetic. There are also a few extra horsepower.

In the first available expansion stage, the Leonberger tuners offer an increase by 60 PS and 130 Newton meters. In the case of the Turbo S, 471 kW / 640 PS and 880 Newtonmeter torque are announced. This also has a positive effect on driving performance. Instead of a sprint time from a standing start on Tempo 100 of already breathtakingly short 2,9 seconds, according to Techart, 2,7 seconds should be possible. The top speed also increases from 300 to 338 km / h.

So that the performance remains manageable, the outer skin in particular has been aerodynamically optimized. Techart has exchanged or modified parts via 60. In addition to a more powerful look, the 911 also gets more downforce. At Tempo 300, 321 kilograms should press the vehicle onto the road. In addition, the aero concept is intended to provide a better air supply for water and oil cooling.

In addition, the tuner has developed a titanium exhaust system with four tailpipes, which has a stepless pneumatic flap control. Impressive ferris wheels with 20 or 21 inches in diameter and a coilover with noselift function round off the measures. With the nose lift system, the ground clearance on the front axle can be increased by 6 centimeters at the push of a button.

If the package of measures is not enough, you only have to be patient. In the spring of 2017, Techart plans to introduce another performance level for the 911 Turbo. Here the Leonbergers want to push the Turbo S engine to 530 kW / 720 PS and 920 Newton meters, which should ensure even better driving performance. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
