Seat plans to enter the SUV business in 2016. Then the compact model of the Spaniards starts with the technology of the new one expected for 2015 VW Tiguan. The bestseller in the segments is then based on the VW Group's new technology kit, which from 2016 will also use the new edition of the Skoda Yeti in addition to the Seat.
The design of the compact Seat SUV should be based on the 2011 IBX study. An optional all-wheel drive with Haldex clutch and electronic differential locks should ensure a minimum level of off-road capability. The drive range is made up of the well-known diesel and petrol engines in the power range from 61 kW / 110 PS to 135 kW / 184 PS.
