The GT of Subaru starts into the model year 2017 with numerous innovations. Even visually, some changes come to mind, such as the new full-LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights. Even with the fog lights and tail lights LED technology is now used. Also set new accents are a revised front apron, new alloy wheels and a rear spoiler, which is no longer placed directly on the trunk edge, but stands out from it with small feet.

In addition to the higher pressure on the rear axle due to the new rear wing also changed spring rates and shock absorbers together with a reinforced rear stabilizer for a dynamically optimized handling. In the future, Subaru will offer four preselection options for anti-skid protection VDC. The track mode should allow discreet oversteer when cornering. Alternatively, the assistance systems can even be deactivated in the drive version with manual transmission. By the way, the engine remains with two-liter boxer, the unchanged 147 KW / 200 PS and 205 Newtonmeter torque either via the manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission alone to the rear axle.

As before, Subaru offers the GT in the sports equipment, which has been upgraded to a new audio system with 6,2 inch touch screen. The entertainment unit enables the integration of smartphones and includes a Bluetooth hands-free system. The audio system can also be operated by buttons on the handy styled steering wheel. Finally, Subaru has added a 4,2-inch display to the display arsenal in the instrument cluster. In addition to on-board computer information, this can indicate longitudinal and lateral acceleration values ​​as well as a stopwatch.

In addition to the sports equipment, the Sport + version is also a new addition to the program, which also features sports seats with leather / alcantara covers as an outstanding detail.
