Subaru Solterra from 57.490 euros

Drive carefree with the Subaru Solterra: The all-electric SUV model comes with a comprehensive eight-year guarantee of up to 160.000 kilometers. The standard all-round protection includes not only a classic vehicle guarantee but also a mobility and battery guarantee.

The first fully electric vehicle from SUBARU

If you opt for the first electric car from the Japanese all-wheel drive brand, you are on the safe side. The completely free Subaru new car guarantee covers all important components: from the drive to the brake system and steering to the electrical system. Even with the high-voltage battery - the heart of every electric car - Subaru makes no compromises. The manufacturer not only guarantees unrestricted functionality for eight years or 160.000 kilometers, but also that the battery capacity does not drop below 70 percent during this time. The Solterra comes with a 71,4 kWh lithium-ion battery, which allows a range of up to 466 kilometers (according to WLTP) per battery charge.

The comprehensive protection package is rounded off by a Europe-wide mobility guarantee, which is implemented in cooperation with Allianz insurance. It includes, among other things, breakdown assistance and accident recovery and covers rental car or taxi costs, accommodation and return transport of vehicle occupants and vehicle as well as spare parts deliveries abroad. If you are stranded with an empty battery, you will be towed to the nearest charging station in an emergency – once a year free of charge. So that it doesn't come to that, Subaru drivers can use the Solterra's fast-charging function: the high-voltage battery can be charged to 150 percent in around 30 minutes at 80 kW DC columns.

The only prerequisite for the warranty service is a regular service appointment - for example at one of the approximately 400 Subaru partner companies nationwide. This checks and maintains the Solterra once a year or every 15.000 kilometers according to the manufacturer's specifications. Typical cost drivers of conventionally powered vehicles, such as changing the oil, do not apply to e-cars.

The price for the Solterra is fixed

The new Subaru Solterra will hit German roads in late summer 2022 at prices starting at 57.490 euros. Customers can choose from three high-quality equipment lines, propulsion is always provided by a powerful all-wheel drive with two 80 kW/109 hp electric motors on the front and rear axles.
