The second generation of the Subaru XV celebrates its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show (9 until 19, March). First pictures of the new compact SUV suggest a more powerful look than the current model. Model should be the 2016 shown in Geneva study XV Concept, which has already set apart from the externally rather inconspicuous current model. The Allrader with boxer engine in the second half of the year is likely to come on the market 2017.
The XV is something like the lifestyle model in the otherwise rather factual model range of Japanese four-wheel specialists. In Germany, between the sedan Impreza and the large compact SUV Forester settled XV but never quite enforce: 2016 there were only slightly 1.800 new registrations. (Holger Holzer / SP-X)
