When I got the word 'GORM'At first I thought of a Klingon from Star Trek. Only after doing some research did I find out that these are the abbreviation for 'German Off Road Masters'. The rally series has been held every year since 2007 and offers a perfect opportunity to put man and machine through their paces. A lot is demanded here thanks to water, mud, dust, gravel, stone chips, potholes and one or the other jostling.
As love me Nicole to the 24. Of course, I could not refuse to take hours running on just such a piste. I'm (almost) to have fun for everyone. Fortunately, it should stay nice this week, otherwise we would also have to fight with rain, which would have made the track to an impenetrable mud. Our off-road vehicle will become a Suzuki Jimny, who then gives his best between all other vehicles. Together with two other comrades, we become 24. Going for an 10 kilometers long run for hours and of course trying to get among the best.
Among the few women who will be there, Nicole and I hold the flag for all the girls and do our best. We will be accompanied by a film team and of course publish our adventure here. I am very curious about how it will be and if we are up to the challenges. For those who want to know what an off-road race looks like, here's a little insight:
If you still want to take a look at Nicole's first insights, here's her contribution:
