“Unleashed” is the name of a new restoration program by E-Type UK tailored to the Jaguar E-Type. At prices starting at around 380.000 euros, the British are conjuring up a state-of-the-art enthusiast's vehicle with many contemporary comfort details and a powerful V12 drive from the old sports car. The price does not include the original vehicle.
In the case of the first unleashed conversion, an E-Type of the Series 70, which was only produced from the early 3s, served as the basis. In around 4.000 hours, the vehicle was completely rebuilt and the platform reinforced. The V12 engine has also undergone a profound refresher. The displacement of the injector was increased from 5,3 to 6,1 liters and the output to over 400 hp and a ceramic-coated stainless steel exhaust system was installed. There is also a completely new cooling system designed to guarantee the mechanical reliability of the drive under all driving conditions. The chassis has been reinforced and upgraded with larger wheels, adjustable suspension elements and a modern performance braking system.
Externally, the Uleashed-E-Type remains clearly recognizable as a classic car, but at the same time it offers some modern details such as LED headlights with daytime running lights. The interior has also been modernized. There are heated leather seats, aluminum, chrome and piano lacquer applications. A start button is used to start, and there is also a heated windscreen, electric windows, central locking, automatic air conditioning and a surround sound system on board. E-Type UK can adapt the interior design individually to the wishes and preferences of the customer.
