Most recently, the VW ID.4 was only available in the more expensive versions. Now there is a cheap basis again.
VW brings the basic variant of ID.4 back. The electric crossover costs in the “Pure” equipment with 125 kW/170 hp rear-wheel drive and a range of 361 kilometers from 40.335 euros - and is therefore 6.000 euros cheaper than the "Pro" version, which was last used as an entry-level model. The standard equipment falls however meagerly, among other things missing navigation system, alloy wheels and a fast on-board loader: instead of 11 there are only 7,5 kW.
VW had the cheapest ID.4 last year because of delivery bottlenecks discontinued for semiconductors and other components. There were similar cuts in numerous other models of the brand, which for a long time were only available in the higher equipment and drive variants. With the relaxation of delivery situation and at the same time the population's waning desire to buy, many are returning basic models slowly back again.
