Taxis in Germany are reliable, fast and comfortable. In a test of the ADAC 105 of 160 rides were rated "very good". Only 14 times there were poor tours. In addition to the choice of the right route, the friendliness and competence of the driver as well as the condition of the vehicle were considered.
Anger was rare in the test. However, one in four drivers did not know the finish straight away. Overall, 17 chauffeurs chose a wrong route. The biggest detours were two drivers in Düsseldorf and one in Munich. In Leipzig, a driver denied the promotion on short-haul. The testers also rated as negative that with 12 percent of the journeys no card payment was possible. (Holger Holzer / SP-X)
