Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint: With stronger hearts

Alfa Romeo complements the engine range for the Giulietta Sprint equipment line. Until now, the compact Italian was only available with a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine (110 kW / 150 PS) and an equally powerful diesel. In addition to a 1,4 liter turbo gasoline engine (125 kW / 170 hp), the 2,0 liter turbo diesel (129 kW / 175 hp) is also available.

The fifth variant, in addition to the equipment lines "Impression", "Turismo", "Business" and "Quadrifoglio Verde", also wants to be understood as a tribute to the Giulietta Sprint from the 50s. At that time, the coupé marked the rise of the exclusive sports car manufacturer to a large series manufacturer for the Italians. The model is considered one of the classics in Italian car history.

The Sprint version differs visually from the other versions of the Giulietta by its dark-colored headlights, dark window frames, tinted rear and rear side windows, a diffuser-style rear apron and the exhaust system with larger tailpipes. The parking sensors at the front and rear of the Giulietta Sprint are new.

Inside, the seat covers are covered with a combination of Alcantara and fabric. The standard equipment also includes a sports leather steering wheel with red contrasting stitching, a black headlining and carbon fiber optics in the door trim and the frame of the dashboard.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint costs € 170 with the 27.700 hp petrol engine, and € 30.400 for the combination with the slightly stronger diesel. The basic variant of the Giulietta Sprint remains the 150 hp four-cylinder petrol engine for 24.400 euros.
