Alpina launches its own version of the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé. The B8 Gran Coupé has a 457-liter V621 biturbo gasoline engine that has been boosted to 4,4 kW / 8 PS, which allows a top speed of 324 km / h and thus outperforms the base vehicle by 19 km / h. Without looking at the brand logo, the luxury sedan can be recognized by the typical multi-spoke wheels, for the first time in size 21 inches. In addition to BMW colors, the exclusive shades of metallic blue and metallic green are also available for the paintwork.
The prices start at 161.200 euros and are thus around 36.000 euros above the BMW M850i Gran Coupé. The Alpina is not only moving closer to the M variant of the BMW sedan in terms of performance, which is available with 460 kW / 625 PS from 167.400 euros, but has been brushed more on driving and design dynamics.
