Audi with the highest proportion of electric power

More than a third of all newly registered cars in Germany had an electric motor on board in the first two months - at least as a support.

More than two thirds of all new Audi in Germany are equipped with an electrified drive. According to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the proportion of electric and hybrid vehicles among Ingolstadt residents was 69 percent in the first two months. At BMW it was more than every second new car (57,2 percent), at Mercedes (38,5 percent) and Ford (34,0 percent). A total of 364.103 cars with hybrid, battery-only electric drives, fuel cells or plug-in hybrids have been registered in Germany since January. This corresponds to a market share of 36,8 percent. In the same period of the previous year it was only 16,1 percent.
