Audi TT RS 40 years Quattro Edition

The early focus on all-wheel drive pushed Audi into the top league of car manufacturers. No wonder that money does not play a role for the anniversary - at least when it comes to the price of the special birthday model.

Audi is celebrating the birthday of its all-wheel drive technology with a special model of the TT RS. In the "40 years Quattro" edition, the Coupé carries an aero kit with diffuser, rear wing and front splitter as well as a bonnet with carbon air inlet opening. In addition, there is a film in the traditional motorsport colors of the brand.
In the interior there are, among other things, Alcantara elements on the nappa leather sports seats and door panels. On request, a crossbar made of carbon can be installed in place of a rear seat. The drive is provided by the well-known 2,5-liter turbo gasoline engine with 294 kW / 400 PS, whose power is distributed to all four wheels by means of a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The price for the special edition, built in 40 units, is 111.170 euros. Compared to the production model with an identical drive, this means a surcharge of almost 45.000 euros.
